Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Showbookr, operated by Baesc Studios ("Showbookr", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Showbookr is a tool for landlords and property agents to manage property showings, bookings, applicants, and private notes. Features include public booking links, time slot scheduling, applicant tracking, status and rating management, and landlord-only notes.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must be of legal age to enter into a binding contract, and if using Showbookr on behalf of an organisation, you must have authority to bind it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Showbookr. In particular, you will not:

• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose.
• Send spam or unsolicited communications to renters.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the service (including malware, probing, or scraping).
• Resell, redistribute, or reverse engineer the service.

4. Subscriptions, payments and billing

Showbookr offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan billed on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your account at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Pro subscriptions are required to manage more than one property.

5. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns.

6. Your content and data

You retain ownership of property listings, applicant data, and notes you add to Showbookr. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and process this content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter, and for handling renter data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

7. Intellectual property

Showbookr, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Baesc Studios and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms and your subscription plan.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Showbookr running reliably, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baesc Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. On termination, we will delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Baesc Studios against any claims arising from your use of the service in violation of these Terms, your content, or your unlawful handling of renter data.

12. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Baesc Studiosis established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
